My very first solo adventure was with my best friend Bo. We were 14 and set out to walk the Coast to Coast, a long-distance footpath of 192 miles (plus a few for getting lost) from the west to east coasts of northern England. I’d borrowed my dad’s camera, which was a great idea until in a fit of fly-swatting frustration it flew out of my map case and exploded into tiny pieces.
Since then I’ve been rather more careful with my cameras. But I’m passionate about photography and have travelled through some 40 or so countries, taking pictures everywhere I go. Looking at the world through the camera’s view finder makes me concentrate more intently on it and many of the lasting images that stick in my memory of travels and adventures are of the photos I took of them.
From wildlife to weddings, I take pictures of everything and anything. Below are a few galleries that I hope you might enjoy looking through. If you’d like me to take pictures for you or to buy prints or cards then of course please feel free to contact me. For now though, happy browsing.
